My name is Jake Goetsch and ever since I can remember, I have been fascinated by wild places and wild things. Like many, I was introduced to the outdoors at an early age by my Father and Grandfather who taught me the importance of conservation, woodsmanship, and resource management. I have spent many days afield in some of the upper Midwest's lowest wildlife density areas and understand the importance of having quality resources available across the landscape.
I was extremely fortunate to manage one of Minnesota's largest private land tracts for a period of 10 years and it ignited in me a passion for observing wildlife and understanding how each species uses the land to their benefit.
Witnessing the positive impact of a few small conservation tactics has been the most rewarding part for me over the years and I want to take what I've learned and share with you
